Diesel has become one of the most prominent, widely known and widely respected brands in the world of fashion. It all started just 30 years ago in 1978, and since then the company has grown by leaps and bounds. They are known for a wide number of different trends, styles and key products, and the brand continues to grow and reach more people than ever before.

As mentioned, Diesel was started in 1978. The company was founded by Renzo Rosso and Adriano Goldschmied, who had been his boss at the AG Jeans Company. The company is based out of Italy, and particularly at first was known for their jeans. Diesel jeans are still extremely popular today, and they are available in a huge range of different styles and looks.

From the beginnings of jeans though, Diesel has grown to incorporate many other products as well. They now have a complete range of clothing available, including shirts, shoes and bags. They also produce jewelry, other fashion accessories and even fragrances. The Diesel company also has their own music label, and has expanded into producing other lifestyle products including furniture, lighting and other d�cor.

One of their more recent additions has been their huge line of underwear and intimates clothing. This is a line that's meant to be sexy and highly attractive, but is also meant to be fun and playful. It certainly stands out from the crowd and nothing from Diesel will ever be mistaken as "plain" or "boring".

Clothes from Diesel are expensively priced, in part because of the reputation of the brand and their status, as well as their fine fabrics and materials used, trendy designs and more. This makes their clothing even more coveted and people flock to their flagship stores to get the latest jeans, club wear, bathing suits and more.

Diesel is also well known for their eye catching, sexy and sometimes even controversial advertising. One recent campaign has scantily clad men and women with the slogan, "sex sells, unfortunately we sell jeans". They produce magazine advertisements and billboards that really draw in attention by featuring the best looking models in a variety of different funny, unusual or simply sexy situations. In fact, if you go to their website far more attention is paid to the advertising and visual appeals than to the actual clothes and products.

It's another way that they have grown their brand and what they represent, which is trendy and sexy clothing for teens and those in their 20s. It's as much attitude and statement as it is about purely fashion, and Diesel has been very effective at combining all of these different elements.

In just a bit over 30 years Diesel has grown by leaps and bounds, from an Italian jeans company to an international fashion and lifestyle powerhouse, with a full range of products and collections. They are certainly at the forefront of the fashion industry and are very appealing to a wide range of people today. With their edgy advertising and forward thinking clothes, and ever expanding product line, Diesel doesn't look to be gong anywhere.
